Dedicated to Providing Quality & Professional
Spine Care
Our
team of clinicians believes that only rarely do painful
conditions require radical and invasive surgeries,
which can take months of recovery time. Based on decades
of experience, we have found that patients can regain
pain free and active lifestyles with minor, outpatient
procedures and treatment.
This is why we practice Interventional Pain Management.
This is the medical specialty dedicated to the precise
diagnosis and treatment of pain. Using state-of-the-art
minimally invasive treatments,
our specialists successfully "intervene"
in the body's production and or transmission of pain
signals to the brain by identifying and treating the
underlying cause and encouraging the healing process.
As a result, even the most severe pain can be dramatically
reduced or completely resolved.
Most of our outpatient procedures require 2 hours
or less to perform - and many take as little as
15 minutes. Each procedure is performed using a local
anesthetic to numb the skin. In some cases, an IV
may be used to deliver a mild, relaxing sedative.
As a result, patients experience very minor discomfort
and enjoy little or no recovery time.
Delivering comprehensive, start-to-finish spine
care - Our team creates a customized treatment
plan designed to relieve your pain and get you back
to your normal activities as quickly as possible.
Your care may include:
- Conducting minimally invasive pain intervention
treatments
- Incorporating therapeutic exercise (through referral
to a physical therapist)
- Altering medications
- When necessary, referring you to other medical
specialists (surgeons, radiologists, neurologists)
to help implement aspects of your treatment plan
- Discussing your treatment plan with your personal
physician, who will remain involved with your care
throughout the process
