Mary Malick, RN, CNS, FNP--BC

Mary Malick is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has 29 years of nursing experience. Her nursing experience includes eleven years as a nurse practitioner in a physician’s private practice. She has been a Clinical Nurse Specialist in charge of coordinating adult liver transplants, in charge of Research and treatment of patients with liver cancer, and Charge Nurse of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at The University of Chicago Hospitals. She has taught Master degree classes at Purdue University.

For more than a decade, the M.I.S.S. team has proudly served the residents of Northwest Indiana - providing accurate diagnoses and innovative treatments for spinal pain and many other types of acute and chronic pain.

Each of our physicians has achieved board certification in as many as three different specialties (Anesthesiology, Pain Management and Internal Medicine). They are actively involved in ongoing research that keeps their practice on the leading edge of the profession and are often called upon by area hospitals to lecture on pain management. Our physicians are on staff at Community Hospital of Munster, St Mary's Hospital of Hobart, St Catherine's Hospital in East Chicago, and St Anthony's Hospital in Crown Point.

Over the years, each has been recognized as a leader in the field and earned a strong reputation for delivering excellent results and genuine, compassionate care. To them, nothing is more rewarding than helping patients with severe pain regain the kind of normal, active life that the rest of us take for granted.
